Before “The Field of Truth” record is made available to the world in its entirety, I thought it might be best to release an assortment of live works I put together over the last few years. Some of the tracks include contributions and arrangements from the core comrades; AFTA-1, J DEAL, PETEY K and L BASS.  I can’t forget to mention NEV who took over the BOSS with Manuel weeks after I bought it and simply elevated the collective vibrations. Dig and be Dug.

Mixtape 1:Let her play-Clay Heart in a cane field

The selection above is a mixtape I put together sometime in 2005 or 2006 when I was still living in Queens. It’s a story about a boy and a girl and that thing called love.

Mixtape 2: Fu for thought- The Baron of Byron

This mix was made for Fu, master of the mojito. Between late night talks ranging from the importance of Flying Lotus to the mechanics of a proper cricket bowl, that brother taught me everything I know about selecting supreme clientel when working the door at his bar (not to mention how to skull Japans finest fermented flavors.) He is headed up North to finer places. Selecta to Selecta…it’s clearer than ever, life is about choices. Write on.
